All pups are doing well. We have kennel cough in the area, and I had a girlie clearing her throat, so off to the vet on Sunday for anti-biotics. I am treating ALL pups, just as a precaution. If they get it, it's not a train smash (it's like a cold), but it is unfortunate that on the week of the pups going to their new homes, they could be infected. So if anyone wants to wait and get their pups a week later, I understand... but the vet has given clearance for pups to travel, as long as I let the new owner know that it is possible that they can come down with it when in their new homes because of a 3-10 day incubation period.
Assessments at 8 weeks:
Green
Still a softie, but definitely more playful than a week ago! A very beautiful boy, with a stunning head and bone, a sweet expression and very friendly. Gets flattened by the girls in a scuffle :)
Red
Mister innovative! He can escape any pen I put up. Very playful and very much a forward little boy. Wants to do stuff all the time and loves attention. Doesn't stand back if he is picked on! My working pick boy.
Yellow
Still my breed pick, a very sweet girl, soft nature, playful. She is put together very nicely, and has a lovely head and expression. She's friendly and loves cuddles!
Blue
My liveliest puppy when it comes to playing! She is spunky and carries things around, makes up games for herself and tugs up a storm. She loves interaction with people. My working pick girl. She seems quite athletic.
Black
Also a nice pup to interact with on a working level, a very pretty and moderate-sized girl. Plays, but without the same gusto as Blue. A sweet natured puppy, that seems to be a great all-rounder.
Pink
A cute little package, playful and sweet, similar to Black in many ways, just a little smaller. Very friendly and lives for cuddles.
White
Still the lunatic in the litter! She is a feisty little thing that needs discipline and rules but she will work like a dream! Not for a beginner! She is fast and agile and very forward.
