For everyone waiting for Border Collie puppies... the time for progress is finally upon us!
In another week, we will do a scan to see if Red is pregnant. And then Finn is scheduled for a mating next week - hold thumbs that it goes as smoothly as it did last time! If all goes well, there should be 2x Mackland Border Collie litters on the ground in August!
To all the prospective puppy owners, I thought that you would like to see the photographs, videos, and updates of the Mackland puppies while they are still with me. These Border Collie & Shetland Sheepdog puppies are lovingly bred and raised in my home. This blog lets me show you step by step how your baby is raised. It highlights each step from mating to 8 weeks old. I hope that you all enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoy having them in my house!

Hold thumbs, everyone!
Mackland Red e Sted e (Red) was bred to Mackland Need for Speed (Rush) today....
She is on day 14 and appears to be ready, but she's s feisty little bugger! Poor Rush has had his face bitten off a number of times in the last few days. So, it was off to the vet for an AI. She will be having another AI on Friday.
