almost 8 weeks

Last night the pups slept in the kitchen as they stir each other up early in the morning... so this way they could let themselves out.

The babies had their first bath today - little fighters!
After the bath, they had their first taste at the dryer.... Bravest pups were Lime and Red :)

Heights of the pups:
Boy 21cm
Yellow 20.5cm

Tuesday night

Passed out cold after hectic play!

It's hard to believe the babies are 8 weeks old on Saturday!! We have a studio photoshoot planned for Friday evening, so look out for those pics!!

New homes have been chosen and the first 3 babies fly on Saturday. I think Journey will be super pleased.. she is getting irritated with the rugrats grabbing her haha..

Tired babies

Tired babies last night after wrecking the house..........

Yummy treat on a rainy Tuesday

The lot were rowdy by 5am so they had their breakfast a bit early. So by 8am they were ready for a snack... so I made them a dish of pumpkin and chicken.... here's a little video clip of them running to get it :)

Puppy packs

I am currently working some more on the puppy packs...

Collars are ready - I will pop them on for an hour here and there and then put then in the puppy packs.

Hoofs ready for the crate trips

Pups are getting Bravecto tomorrow

Puppy toys to take home

Puppy handling party

At each litter (at about 7 weeks) I invite a pile of friends over to handle puppies and let them get used to different people and crowds and (nice) children. We did this last night and it was a huge success!

Getting ready for the party as it pured down....

At the gate, on the front pathway there was a small tray with F10 in it for people to dip their feet in, and a spray bottle with the same for spraying their hands and bodies, before enteringthe property.

The people arrived and the pups loved the attention!!

Rainy Friday

The pups screamed at 6am to go out, so out they went! It was raining lightly but they loved it.. but within 10 minutes they were screaming for attention again. They had already had breakfast in their inside pen, so I made them some pumpkin and gave it to them in their outside pen. They were delighted, and then went to have a nap. It is still raining but they have 3/4 of the yard to run in if they want to, and this dry deck area for snuggling. It is still pretty warm despite the rain.

Red

Just to give you an idea of the size of litte Red girl:

This little one, I am fearing, is more like an agility dog... although a real midgit!

Pups around the house

The pups have some freedom around my home now, and they are exploring nicely!

Here someone is squeezing in between dad and story to lick a bowl...

They are a little bit mad:

Journey was caught on the kitchen floor, shame...

Last evening I introduced the pups to a packet - they didn't seem phased at all!

They love the log outside!!

Slowly started passing out late last night!

Biggest pen yet

After the mowers left today, the pups were set free. Now only a small area cordoned off for my babysitters as the pups have most of the yard...
