The SUN litter was dewormed today (2 week deworming) - another messy affair! The worst of the bunch was Screaming Diva... feisty little bugger! The usually-difficult Splash was a perfect angel for once...
But none of them thought it was a great idea - the amount that they spat out equalled the amount ingested! Finn was surprisingly calm, and licked the bottle each time I did a puppy, so she didn't need any at the end!
The pups are all getting quite active, and they chuff off around the box at top speed.
My old faithful BC whelping box has been replaced by a new super duper model that the pups got to try out last night. There's more room for mom and the squirmy babies! (and more for me to clean too)
The noise levels in that room are also going up quite a bit as this bunch insists on shouting across to the noisy shelties to shut up (no doubt).
To all the prospective puppy owners, I thought that you would like to see the photographs, videos, and updates of the Mackland puppies while they are still with me. These Border Collie & Shetland Sheepdog puppies are lovingly bred and raised in my home. This blog lets me show you step by step how your baby is raised. It highlights each step from mating to 8 weeks old. I hope that you all enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoy having them in my house!

Update: Shelties
The Bears litter and Q were dewormed this weekend (2 week deworming) - my word it was a messy affair.. hehe Thanks for the help Sam, send me your dry cleaning bill!
The Sci-fi litter is getting adventurous... they can escape from their box! During the night they took a stroll around the house and one went straight into Q's box and joined the Bears litter.... eish
Tonight they will get a new "door" to their box!

Thursday night
Some dry poo flakes prompted a quick first brush for the Sun litter. Thanks, Sam!
Then they were weighed (4-week weights)
