So... the crunch.. measuring time!
I start measuring Sheltie puppies once a week from 6 weeks. This is an early indication on expected growth. I have compiled charts over the years, and consulted with other breeders that are friends of mine and also breeders overseas. Size is a touchy subject... predictions are very difficult, but it does help with the guesswork! We do not want to go oversize if we can possibly help it!
I can be certain that none of these will go oversize!
BLUE 16.5cm
TEAL 17cm
LIME 18cm
PURPLE 16cm
RED 17.5cm
The previous litter from Journey & Reece were as follows at 6 weeks:
Miley 19cm (finished at 36cm)
Skyla 17cm (finished at 33cm)
Mylo 20cm (finished at 38cm)
Journey is 35.5cm and Reece is 37cm
Let's see how it goes!
