One thing that I am constantly surprised at is the energy of the puppies. Initially it struck me at the vet when they were being born - they wriggled up a storm and screamed blue murder. Mom's anaesthetic clearly didn't have a chance to break the uterine barrier before they came out. And then at home, in the 5 hours without mom - they remained strong and quite feisty, even though their weights dropped in the first day.
And now, at 6 days old, the little buggers don't stop for a moment.
They are extremely quiet puppies, no noise at all unless stood on by clumsy mom, no moaning or fussing at all! But...BUSY! They scoot around the box at a rate of knots... I can see my holidays will be full of fun! I am wondering if I don't have a box full of Agility puppies here!
I am looking forward to playing with pups in the next few weeks!
