I am sure that the babies' eyes are about to open! Most have little slits that look like they will pop open any moment. There MAY still be 1 little surprise in store for us.... I know that Rush carries the blue eye gene, but we have no way of knowing what Red carries.... so there MAY just be a blue eye or two in this lot... although my personal preference is an almost-black dark eye.....! Mackland has never produced a blue eye to date, and I would be happy to keep it this way! (Even though SO many people love the blue eyes...)
Their pigment is EXCELLENT!! The reds already have about 50% covering on their noses, about 60% on their eye rims, and about 60% on their lips!
They are getting their coat colour nicely now, and we can start seeing where the white markings are lying. Two of the reds are lighter (like mom's brother) and the rest look like they will be mom's colour.
We have a 2 week photoshoot planned, so that you can all see individual pups on Thursday morning!
