OK.. we have 5.5 open eyes (the red girl is still squinting a little)
I hope to do some photos this evening...
All 3 pups are walking (staggering) around rather quickly.. there have been a few little nose-dives as they lose their balance, but they are brave little souls that soldier on!
Still their favourite sleeping positions (reds) are in the corners of the whelping box, with heads facing the ceiling, and (black) totally upside down with stubby pins in the air (my word, I thought she had keeled over and died the first time I saw it...)
Also.... while feeding Chakotay today in the whelping box (like she is the Queen of Sheba) - baby starter mousse on her pellets - the red girl came hurtling over and grabbed the spoon!! I let her lick it clean, and BOY did she lick it!
It's really early for "food" so I was surprised at her eagerness, but she really went ballistic for it. When I took the spoon away, her head was bobbing up and down smelling some stray crumbs that she had messed on the blanket. I think I will get a video for you guys to see later! If it carries on like this, training will be a breeze!
